Okay so my vision is getting bad enough that I can't really read physical books anymore without getting a migraine, and I usually read on my phone because I do read the majority of fanfiction. But I need to know is it more feasible for me to get one of those Kindle things or should I just suck it up and save for like an iPad that I can also use for drawing and just kind of multitask that shit cuz I don't need the drawing tablet (my laptop is a convertible), but I need something sooner rather than later to read on

A major proponent of me getting one or the other will be can I access AO3 on said device.

While I am used to it, as I was born with attention nystagmus, it is frustrating not finding anyone else with the same disorder. I've met lots of people with nystagmus, but never anyone else with the same kind as me.

My eyes will bounce between every single thing in my field of vision. Usually there's a LOT in my field of vision, since y'know there's just so much that exists. Sometimes my brain will delete images from my vision as well, and I think it's connected to the type of nystagmus I have. I've walked in front of oncoming traffic before, even though I was looking both ways the whole time, because my brain deletes the image of the oncoming car. Thankfully, every time that has happened someone has been nearby to grab me. If nobody grabbed me, I'd have been hit. Cars don't expect you to suddenly walk in front of them, and they don't have enough time to stop before hitting you. At least in the situations I've been in.
