But yeah, it’s really a conundrum. I was actually terrified they were going to kill off Eva, but apparently killing a pregnant woman was too ~edgy~ for them. And Lily’s death was ultimately the cruelest slap in the face imaginable. Especially with how fucking graphic it was.

And to make matters worse it’s still up in the air whether or not the Swede is alive yet or not, which just makes it even more insulting. Literally the only reason Lily was killed was because she’s in a Thing with Bohannon so clearly he needed more TRAGEDY AND ANGST to further the story and killing her off was the only way to do it. (Despite all the struggles she went through and how the way she went out was fucking ridiculous considering what she’d done to survive.) So they essentially stuffed Lily Bell in the fridge. There were at least 10 male characters on the show and only three women. jfc

Let’s also not forget that the series began because Bohannon’s wife got offed.

There’s starting to be a pattern here.

My biggest concern right now is that the only reason they’re introducing this Louise character is to replace Lily (which normally I wouldn’t have a problem with but they’re only adding a new female character AFTER the previous main female character died). And then they’re going to establish Louise, and then Bohannon and her are undoubtedly going to end up having some kind of romantic relationship.

And then they’re going to kill her. So the show is going to leave a trail of women who die for the cause of Bohannon and it will be shit. (We’re assuming here the show will actually get a fourth season or more.) I don’t have enough faith in the writers to believe this won’t happen.

I was afraid of the fact that Lily was getting put in a relationship with Bohannon in the first place and I was completely against it and I guess I was right in not wanting it to happen.

I am being mean, I wanted to see could you’s actually say it :P
