The conversation comes up while youre all sitting around the fire, beer cans in hand. You’re sat with your legs thrown over Bo’s, turned sideways towards him. You’re all just tipsy enough that no one even bats an eyelash when the conversation turns to picking up on the road and you ask “hey, do hockey players really share with their roomies or is that just a stereotype?” you’re half kidding, but bo can feel the way your thighs clench together when DZ laughs and answers “not just roomies; d-pairs, lineys, sometimes more.” despite being outside, it feels like all the air is gone when you can barely let out an “oh” and bo turns his head towards you, the hand thats resting around your shoulder draws up to trace up your neck and you shiver a little. “you ok, babe? cold?” and you can barely swallow before nodding, making jake and brock laugh. Troys the one to actually cross the line, turns to look you dead in the eyes and asks “ain’t that a thought, (Y/N)? a little team bonding, eh?” You can’t help the smirk that spreads across your face when you see Ben blush across the circle from you when you wink at him. “Anything for the team chemistry, right?”

When the name “Virtanen” is trending on Twitter in Canada, and your first thought is Soile; then you remember there’s a hockey player with that name, too, so obviously it’s NHL-related, but still... @soisle
