‘This is the year I lose my virginity’ is as good a way as any other to start a new school year.

Ron snorts when Harry says it; Hermione rolls her eyes but wears a fond smile.

They started the so-called Eighth Year at Hogwarts, and they’re all in their old houses, their old dorms, their usual roommates. Dean, Neville and Seamus have an ongoing bet with Ron about Harry’s virginity—Dean and Seamus think Harry won’t be able to separate feelings from sex and will end up waiting for the ‘right guy’. Ron and Neville, on the other hand, are convinced Harry won’t even be able to step foot into the Great Hall without hoards of fans begging him to have sex, ending up in Harry losing his virginity within their first week of school.

Little do they know that by the end of the school year, Harry will be walking back to his dormitory dreading the moment he’ll have to reveal his friends he lost his virginity to a Slytherin.

The Wrong Strain by Colubrina: Everyone knew what veela were. Veela were magical creatures, breathtakingly beautiful, who captivated men with a single look. It would have been nice to have been that strain. Instead, Hermione Granger was infected by another. Instead of captivating all men, she was captivated by one. She'd die without him. She was already in almost constant pain. DRAMIONE. COMPLETE.

*cracks knuckles* Ok, first off, I need to give credit where credit is due. I saw the chain post by @swade070, @potterslittleferret, @parseltonquinq, @quiddatively, @decanthrope, @drarryking and I’m giving up on tagging ppl because over half of you aren’t linking through. BASICALLY THIS IS BASED OFF THIS POST. Well, actually, this is based off a hilarious jaytim post in the Batman fandom that @drabblemeister came up with that she graciously allowed me to use after I came across the innocent!Draco post and decided it needed to be turned into fanfiction.

Harry was torn between determination and excitement. 

Unfortunately, the determination was making him feel a little queasy about the whole thing. Because if he approached this with a face of determination, Draco was automatically going to push back on old habit and principle alone. And the last thing Harry wanted was to get into a fight about their sex life.

Or...their...”bedroom stuff” as Draco preferred to blushingly call it.

“What’s got you fidgeting about?” 

Harry opened his mouth and stopped. Beyond having the idea, he was clueless as to how to actually break into the topic of spicing up one’s sex life. Perhaps with a visual?

“I -- Well, I brought these.” He pulled his handcuffs out from the folds of his auror robes. 

A finely arched eyebrow rose. “Vigilant as ever, I see.” Draco returned his attention to stirring his tea. “Who’s the lucky felon?”

The cuffs jangled as Harry held them close to his body. “So...right. Here’s the thing. I was hoping it would be me?”

Draco’s head shot back up and the gentle clink of the spoon ended in a harsh clank.

“You know...” Harry continued. “Like...in the bedroom?”

Grey eyes went wide, true fear shining through as Draco’s gaze darted between Harry and the handcuffs.

“Or, if you’d like, it could be you!”

Draco’s mouth fell open in horror and it took him several attempts to speak.

“Y-you. Oh, Merlin. Okay. I. Er. I just.” 

He pivoted on his foot and disappeared with a crack.

It took Harry several seconds to realized he had actually Disapperated and had fully vacated the premises.

Well. That certainly could have gone better.

She's working hard at her Ministry career, however frustrating and pointless her job may be, and she's also got to live up to everyone's expectations as Hogwarts's most famous Muggle-born and a top-tier War Hero. So, why is she still sleeping with Draco Malfoy, ex-Death Eater and infamous pureblood? And why isn't she certain that she wants to stop?
