I was not a huge fan of the sandalwood scented earthling shampoo bar tbqh. I've been using it regularly since may because I have to finish it up because I'm not wasting product (lol 😩) it made the whole bathroom smell like it which is essentially cheap essential oils? I don't know how to describe it besides a very strong perfumey scent? The limited edition peach hibiscus shampoo bar from viori has a similar slightly musky perfume scent. I was expecting bath & body works peach body wash but this is not like that.
I should be trying to finish the kitsch bar because I bought the stuff like over 8 months ago and I've been going through the unscented bars because I really did not want to risk getting a weird perfumey scent I don't like which is what happened but. As long as the smell is not offensive I'll just deal with it.
I have both the island in the sun deodorant and soap bar and the deodorant smell does not come out of clothes regardless of how often you wash them and pretreat the area. It's a pleasant scent but I'm such a naturally sweaty, stinky person so it doesn't really help as a deodorant unless I'm using an antiperspirant at the same time.
