I JUST SAW THIS SORRY

JULY WAS THE FOURTH OF JULY we got to go on the white house south lawn for the fourth, saw bruno mars perform, and got greeted by michelle and barack as the fireworks and we “heh, heh, plebians”-ed at the people crowding together on the mall

that night was also the night that i drag this dude’s drunk ass home after he gets KICKED OUT OF A PARTY that I BROUGHT HIM TO and he like. fucking throws up on the dc metro that night too and wonders galore and his first text to me the next morning after i put him in bed and uber back home is “u owe me a hot and wet blow job.”

i was his TA last semester (sunglasses emoji)

(it’s fine actually he apologized PROFUSELY he apparently had just completely forgotten everything that had happened that night and was trying to make a dumb reference joke to a convo we’d had before. he was still kind of a dick but he wasn’t like. TRYING to be a jerk.)

we also had gone to the beach with my intern friends right before my fourth party!! that was really fun i had the best guac i’ve ever tasted and that party was The Worst for multiple reasons but whatever it happened

i went to the white house aapi conference for youth that month!!! what an amazing time

HAD DINNER W THE LADY WHO FUCKING FOUNDED THE DEMOCRATIC WOMEN’S CAUCUS LIKE WTF THE FUCK. she was also the one who gave us the grant for the summer bc her husband went to cmu apparently. that was really cool too

oh that dinner was when this dude from the british embassy GAVE ME HIS CARD bc he liked what i had to say about politics in northern ireland and wanted to help me figure out my fulbright shit

WENT TO THE MAKE PROGRESS EVENT!! hosted by cap so i saw a bunch of people from the fall, a bunch of people from the aapi conf last week, and saw a bunch of politicians and important people including JOE BIDEN haha i got a selfie w the vp

my brother came to visit me that month i think and stayed w me for a week

WENT TO NEW YORK CITY THAT MONTH!! saw a bunch of friends from tumblr and from school again
