The Capitals - Vilmaris
Vilmaris is the unofficial capital of the empire. Immigrants, Provizens and traders all flock to the crowded city. Vilmaris is directly across the Alveo canal from Sonticus. The fastest way between the cities is by boat, but if you are travelling by foot your only option is the Ring Road that circles all the way around the bay.
Vilmaris is the true centre of the empire. While the city is made up of cultures and races from all over Aliis Mundi, you’ll have some trouble finding many Sonti living there. One of the only Sonti, and most notable one, who resides in Vilmaris is Lysandra. Lysandra owns and operates the largest network of brothels in the city, as well as being Emperor Klaud’s mistress. Some say Lysandra has a little too much control over Klaud and his empire.
The Vilmaris Harbour is in a constant state of organized chaos, much like the rest of the city. Fishermen, merchants, vendors, prostitutes and slavers all work out of Vilmaris. Very little work is done in Sonticus (despite what the politicians might tell you).
