❛ WELCOME TO  T H E  V I L L A I N ’ S  L A I R . . .
A brilliant world of villainy awaits you beyond the wrought iron gates of the empress’ palace. Today marks the grand opening of The Villain’s Lair as the empress and her council reveal what lies beyond their palace doors that have finally open for visitation. You, as a guest, will be invited to step foot into the grand castle and wonder as you please. However, we ask that you steer clear of the third floor, reserved for the verified villains only. This is an open invitation for you all to witness the foundation of @villainsnetwork and we, as the administrators, are glad to finally be able to share with you the newly established safe haven for villains and villain lovers. This acts only as a visitors pass and we ask that you remain patient in regards to permanent entrance to the Villain’s Lair.
Welcome to your new source for all things villainous ! Villain’s Network has been founded upon the observation that literary villains are being under-represented within this community and so this network is being dedicated to all great villains and anti-heroes! The network will act as a tribute to every one of our favourite book antagonists.Â
Please note that this post is only as an introduction to Villains Network and is not a formal application announcement. The application form to gain permanent membership to the empress’ palace will arrive in the coming days so keep you’re eyes peeled and track #villainsnetwork for any further announcements. The queen’s have worked tirelessly to be able to provide for you all this new network so reblogging this post to spread the word would be very much appreciated. Thank you and enjoy your visit!
Oxana sensed herself changing, and the results pleased her. Her observational ability, sensory skills and reactive speeds had all been extraordinarily enhanced. Psychologically, she felt invulnerable, but then she had always known that she was different from those around her. She felt none of the things they felt. Where others would experience pain or horror, she knew only a frozen dispassion. She had learned to imitate the emotional responses of others—their fears, their uncertainties, their desperate need for affection—but she had never fully experienced them. She knew, however, that if she was to escape notice in the world it was essential to wear a mask of normality, and to disguise the extent of her difference.
