Does anyone want to talk about the Wildwitch books by Lene Kaaberbøl? Those had a pretty big impact on how I thought about books when I first read them because I was like eleven or twelve and these get really dark in some places (darker than I was used to at least) but there was a lot about them I really liked and at the time they felt so unlike anything I'd read up to that point that I was a bit obsessed with them. I haven't reread them in ages and can't even remember much specific plot stuff (other than which thing that emotionally scarred me a little bit happened in which book) and was hoping to find some kind of fan community online for them and am both surprised and a bit disappointed to not find one.
