Because I know that by sending me rude messages they are admitting that I am a threat to them. They see something in me or my blog that makes them feel insecure enough that they need to try to tear me down in hopes of building themselves up. In their pathetic attempt at feeling better about themselves, they need to see someone reduced to doubting who they are. I know I'm probably going to get lots of hate just for posting this, but I'm not changing the anonymous setting. I'm not because I want you to think next time, before you hit the anonymous button, about what you're really saying with your empty insults and desperate criticisms. Think about it--do you really want to show the whole world that you're not only insecure, but you're being a jerk about it and hiding behind a blank face instead of coming out and admitting who you are? There are better ways of building self-confidence than that.
