Screen grabs from the final video

The final editorial for my collaboration with Kieran. Each postcard will have a different photo on from the shoot, from both the location and studio. The photo and text will be on the front, and on the back it’ll be the city or cloud shot. Really happy with the outcome.

What attracted me to the lookbook work of Olaf Hussein was the split page, showing two image with simple text over the top. This brand also inspired up for the photoshoot, both location and studio shots.

In the end, we decided to use different parts from my development projections in the photoshoot and video, as they worked much better on screen compared to when they were played on my laptop. It had a great effect and worked really well with the brand itself, and the clothes.

As the model Dark Circle had for us was busy the days we planned to shoot, we took the job into our own hands and send some messages out in hope of a reply.

First day of shooting the Dark Circle promo video at tennis courts, and a small car park in Birmingham near Kieran’s house. Kieran filmed it all and we both directed the shoot, making sure that we got a variety of shots to help add to the effect of the final video.
