#video transcoder

Toothache finally got to my nerves, and I went to my dentist last night. As I had expected, I needed a root canal! Oh boy, this is my second one. I still can't forget the horrible experience of my first one. Well, that's another story...

So, he shows me his iPod Touch, its pretty cool, by the way :) ... and asks me if I could put some movies in his iPod using my Mac. After returning home at around midnight, I sat down doing one of my favorite things --- Googling :P

And wala! I came across this fabulous tool called "handbrake". Its open source and its available for Windows, Mac and Linux. How cool is that! Apparently Quick Time Pro also has the exporting/conversion tool, but you got to buy the Pro version first. So here is to Apple --- "Up yours man". Ahem, by the way, no offense to Steve Jobs. I am more than willing to be hired in your company :P
