Holden Commodore SL/E (VH), 1981 The VH Commodore appeared in October 1981 and featured updated styling, notably a smoother front end and redesigned tail lights. A five-speed manual was now available on four- and six-cylinder models. Slightly modified engines were carried over from the previous generation.
