Sure, fine, Iām technically just reposting what I did last year, but I donāt want anyone missing out and despite what I keep reading, thereās no such thing as a dead fandom.Ā The Video Game Orchestra's FFXV concert at PAX East 2018, 17 tracks + 1 bonus Tomb Raider medley:

This game remains essential and important to me, and the soundtrack certainly goes along with that.Ā Iām still playing it regularly.Ā I have fully played through the day 1 Crown Update, then the 1.0 disk version, and am currently taking my sweet time with the Royal Edition.Ā I have been all over Eos, on the surface and below the ground, both intentionally explorable and out of bounds, crossing the vast continents and oceans, endlessly fascinated by this place and its inhabitants.Ā āYou've been all over/ And it's been all over youā rings truest here.Ā It's not a game for everyone, and that's fine. Ā But if you appreciate beautiful creature design, deeply unsettling monsters, rich environmental storytelling where you aren't spoon-fed plot, story or morality but have to do the work to uncover the layers for yourself, and some things which will forever remain lost to history and speculation, I highly recommend it.Ā Just be warned: there is a price to pay to see this through.
Original notes about this concert and general audio quality to be found here.Ā Quite clearly the level editor has not only disappeared into the mists, but has ceased to be acknowledged by any official sources for quite a long while.Ā I have full confidence that it will find its way outside of S-Eās walls someday, whether by official or unofficial methods, but until then... artificial patience.
