This game is really cool! I like the story behind it with the whole idea of a Belmont not being around to kill Dracula. I also really like how the game looks it’s great on the DS and the music is fantastic. The whole weapon idea is great too. It reminds me of the Soul System from Dawn/Aria of Sorrow.
I’d recommend this game it plays around with ideas the work for the game. Simply put it’s a Castlevania without a Belmont. It plays great and I’m sure a lot of you out there would enjoy it.

Welcome back to the Castlevania Marathon. We’ll be Belmont Strutting tonight off with Vampire Killer from the Castlevania 1 soundtrack.
This game is great. I know a lot of people will say that it’s hard but it’s supposed to be. It would take me forever to try to explain why it’d difficulty is good so I’d watch Somecallmejohnny and Egoraptor. Johnny does a good review and Egoraptor makes lots of good points.
If you’re a Castlevania fan you should try this. It’s a great game and it’s just good to see the roots of a great series.

This game is awesome. It looks great for the GBA. I love the soundtrack to death. The Soul System is cool. The Peeping Eye can fuck itself though It’s a great soul to get but it took me four hours. FOUR HOURS even with the Soul Eater Ring. But seriously go get this game. It’s on the GBA and the WiiU Virtual Console.

Sorry about the lack of Castlevania
Sorry guys I’ve been distracted from family members visiting for the week so I’ve been running around and hanging out with them. I’ll pick it back up tomorrow morning.

Hey everyone I probably won't be posting any VGM of the Day or today's Castlevania Marathon song. I have family that are visiting forget week and I kind of lost track today but I'll post tomorrow for sure
VGM Marathons!
Hello everybody it’s time for a botched announcement!
With us departing the hack n’ slash jiggle filled world of Koei. We’ll be be getting into the Konami section. The good news is that we’ll be kicking it off with Castlevania. The bad news is that I have 14 Castlevania soundtracks and that is a lot! So to keep from only having Castlevania for 14 days straight I’ll be putting it into it’s own marathon.
I’ll still post the VGM of the Day alongside the marathon but the VGM of the Day will move on to the next Konami series just to keep things moving. We’ll even be getting into the next section of my music library before marathon is finished.
Also there will never be two marathons going on at the same time. While it is fun have two songs per day it would get boring really quickly to have songs from Castlevania and Mario for example to be posted for the length of two weeks or more.
Hopefully this works out and I hope you all enjoy the Castlevania marathon thanks and have a great night.
