Sally found her son's recent passion for wearing seemingly his entire hoodie collection a little odd. Not that he wasn't prone to wearing them before but right before bed and first thing in the morning was a little strange. For awhile she thought it might be something comfort related, he'd been through too much and it seemed reasonable. Who was she to question what made her son happy, she was just happy he was back. But as all teenagers with a secret are prone to do, one day her son who apparently thought he was being clever, slipped up. One long sleeved shirt that was a little too big slid up his arm with a stretch and she zeroed right in. The pan she'd previously been holding with the offer of blue pancakes was dropped to the counter as she stalked over like a woman possessed.
Sally grabbed Percy's arm wrenching it towards her as she stared at the tattoo no... brand on his precious skin. The precious skin that she'd grown on her precious son who she'd tenderly and lovingly raised for years. One who she was mere moments away from murdering after she'd tearfully welcomed him back. With it she broke her one sworn rule that she held true to for all the time in which she'd raised him. No matter how frustrated she got around him or even with him, she'd never once cursed at him, in front of him or even near him. "What the fuck is that." Her voice flat and hard as she fought the urge to let go, grab him by the shoulders and shake him. She didn't even know how he'd legally gotten a tattoo or when or why he'd be possessed to tattoo his father's emblem of all things and some weird lines and numerals.
It wasn't as if she was against tattoos, she had a few herself and if her son wanted to express himself on his skin Sally was supportive. But she was supportive when she would be able to sign off on it seeing as he was a minor, be present for said tattooing and make sure it wasn't something stupid that he'd regret later. She wasn't sure how, but she knew this was Poseidon's fault and if he'd played a part in this she would become the first mortal to ever actually kill a God and to the extent with which even Tartarus would not see him.
