Cassandra: she is curious as to why they do not talk but never questions it, when she finally found out they were mute she understood, she works to find ways to communicate with the inquisitor. ROMANCED: she doesnât care that they donât talk, and likes how they let their actions show how much they care. She likes being alone with them and finds it peaceful.
Solas: âah, I understand.â He says smiling. He thinks no less of them and thinks they are worthy of everyoneâs respect, he makes his opinion known. ROMANCED: he shows them the fade when we they need time alone, he likes to see their face when they see memories they enjoy. He talks with them little, but they are almost always seen in each otherâs company.
Verric: he likes to tease them a little. âThe strong silent hero to the rescue.â He says when they go on adventures, he likes telling the inquisitor jokes even if they donât laugh at them often, and is sure to let them have their own time to rest.
Sera: she was confused at first. âTalking is not that hard yeah!â She says, she eventually stops and apologizes in a quite setting. âI guess I just didnât get it yeah, people can be troublesome for me too.â She tries taking them on pranks, them being mute helps to be sneaky. ROMANCED: all of skyhold knows about the two pranksters, and neither one say a word to anyone else. They are often seen hanging out together, she is sure to point anyone who might want to talk to the inquisitor away. âSorry, Iâm more important.â She laughs.
Dorian: âso is it true? That actions speak louder than words.â He teased, despite this he is very understanding and thereâs even a spot in the library that he cleared out for them consisting of a mass of blankets and pillows, in a small corner by the window, he stated that none is allowed there. ROMANCED: he sits by them when they are up there, neither say anything to each other, being by each other reading is enough for them. âIâm the only other person thatâs allowed here.â He says to onlookers.
Iron bull: âI donât mind you being mute.â He is straightforward and since he is good at reading emotions it isnât hard for him to understand the inquisitor. He likes telling them stories of his mercenary jobs. ROMANCED: even though he likes to be all over his kadan he gives them space, he knows how draining it is for them to be around to many people. He eagerly awaits for them to come to the tavern when they are well rested, he doesnât like being to far from them.
Vivienne: she is very understanding and even makes them rest up if they are going to big events. âItâs important dear, you need to be well rested.â She doesnât mind them being mute and like many thinks their actions speak louder than words.
Blackwall: he didnât get why they never spoke but it didnât matter, as long as they made the right choices he would stand by them. ROMANCED: he liked how quite they were, he also enjoyed how they would watch him carve wood whenever they wanted to be away from the people, he didnât mind that they didnât say anything.
Cole: âthereâs to many people, I donât like talking. I can talk for you.â He loves that he is able to help them and soon they are seen everywhere together, he talks for the inquisitor, no one seems to mind the two are rarely seen apart.
Cullen: he doesnât comment on them being a mute or on them being introverted, he doesnât mind and believes they are still capable of doing their job. âYou know whatâs best.â He says to them. ROMANCED: he likes how neither of them say anything and he could stay by them all day⌠had it not been for his work, he enjoys finishing his papers so the can be alone together, itâs the best part of his day but he tries to give them space.
Josephine: âwell, itâs not what I expected but I donât mind at all.â She is kind to the inquisitor and makes sure that they are not bothered by to many people, she knows some sign language and they have conversations together in her office. ROMANCED: she loves being around them but like bull, she gives them their space for rest and tries to not disturb them to much, they can sit in silence or carry a conversation in sign language.
Leliana: she likes how quite they are, and voices her high opinions about them, she also sometimes speaks for them and they are seen together sitting in silence, enjoying being away from people.
