Verosika had packed up their bags for their vacation, her body buzzing with excitement. She hadn't been on a vacation in so long! This worried her. She began to softly sing a song. One that helped her any times as she shifted herself to sit right in front of him. She slowly held her arms out to him. She was waiting for him to come back. To see that she was right here for him.
It took some time for Gritt to come round, twitching and gripping his arms tight before he had eventually focused on the sound that didn’t belong in this nightmare of his. Verosika. Golden eyes eventually cleared, settling on her as he was silent. “V-Vero?” His voice was shaky, but once coherent he hesitantly crawled into her arms, gripping onto her tight despite the bloody state of his hands.

"Mm...m'sorry i missed the concert." She mumbled sleepily, "went well?"
“You’ve been working hard... and there were cameras so it’ll turn up on the news I’m sure.” Gritt chuckled, running his claws through her hair with a smile, “I was awesome. Should of heard how loud everyone was screaming.”
