ghost-plot answered your question:So, that ongoing thing with Verizon over a service...
Verizon gave me the run around for months when I went to Europe, I was charged an extra 30$ for 3 months…they suck.
It's seriously about $7 and I refuse to pay at this point because I'm FURIOUS. The sheer number of HOURS I've spent on the phone, getting the runaround, being told it was solved only to get ANOTHER bill (at one point it was up to a couple hundred dollars because they were tacking on late fees), and now THIS? I'm just beyond angry. I'm so glad that I kept the documented conversation of at least the last rep I talked to - I had a notebook going with the name of every single rep, but given that I thought this was solved when the bills finally stopped coming and rep #10 million said that everything was fixed & fine, I'll have to dig for the more extensive records. I just refuse to pay something that I shouldn't have been charged for in the first place, that Verizon stated REPEATEDLY would be taken off the account, and now that it's gone to collections I fully anticipate a hellish time of getting collections to stop anything but again there is no way in hell I'm paying Verizon or their agency something I never owed in the first place.
Any thought I had of getting my dad a tablet for Christmas went out the window, and when I replace my phone, I'm probably going to go with AT&T. I've heard cell phone customer service is bad wherever you go, but I DON'T THINK THIS COULD BE ANY WORSE.
