That morning I opened up my Verizon wireless app to look at my bill. I decided to check the rewards tab to see what was available. I saw that Imagine Dragons tickets were going to go live to claim that afternoon. They are my eight year old nephewās favorite band, but tickets were hundreds of dollars so my brother said he couldnāt go. I set an alarm for a few minutes before it was set to go live and went about my day. That afternoon I was confused when I heard my alarm going off. Iām glad I set a name to the alarm because Iād completely forgotten about the tickets. I opened the app and prepared to pounce as the last two minutes counted down. I immediately tapped the button as soon as it became available and got the tickets!! I was completely in shock. No way I had just snagged these tickets! I took screencaps of everything along the way because I couldnāt believe it. I was told that I would get the tickets in my email within three days. Then I texted my SILā¦ I hadnāt read the fine print yet and wasnāt 100% sure it was actually ticketsā¦

I got the email and was even more shocked. What I had assumed would be lawn tickets were section 102 row H. Eighth row!!!
Tuesday, August 16
I FaceTimed with my nephew to tell him the good news. Iād printed out the tickets. Now these wonāt get me in because theyāre digital tickets, but I needed them for my plan. I held the paper up close and asked what it said. āImagine Dragonsā. āYep!ā I pulled back so he could see the rest of the sheet of paper and asked if he knew what they were. āTicketsā (it hadnāt clicked) āyep, and we are going on Thursday!ā Iāve never seen him smile so big. He was speechless and was squeaking. It was adorable. He was like ātheyāre my favorite band!!ā And couldnāt stop thanking me and giving me āair high-fivesā. It was so sweet and absolutely made my day.
