That morning I opened up my Verizon wireless app to look at my bill. I decided to check the rewards tab to see what was available. I saw that Imagine Dragons tickets were going to go live to claim that afternoon. They are my eight year old nephewâs favorite band, but tickets were hundreds of dollars so my brother said he couldnât go. I set an alarm for a few minutes before it was set to go live and went about my day. That afternoon I was confused when I heard my alarm going off. Iâm glad I set a name to the alarm because Iâd completely forgotten about the tickets. I opened the app and prepared to pounce as the last two minutes counted down. I immediately tapped the button as soon as it became available and got the tickets!! I was completely in shock. No way I had just snagged these tickets! I took screencaps of everything along the way because I couldnât believe it. I was told that I would get the tickets in my email within three days. Then I texted my SIL⊠I hadnât read the fine print yet and wasnât 100% sure it was actually ticketsâŠ

I got the email and was even more shocked. What I had assumed would be lawn tickets were section 102 row H. Eighth row!!!
Tuesday, August 16
I FaceTimed with my nephew to tell him the good news. Iâd printed out the tickets. Now these wonât get me in because theyâre digital tickets, but I needed them for my plan. I held the paper up close and asked what it said. âImagine Dragonsâ. âYep!â I pulled back so he could see the rest of the sheet of paper and asked if he knew what they were. âTicketsâ (it hadnât clicked) âyep, and we are going on Thursday!â Iâve never seen him smile so big. He was speechless and was squeaking. It was adorable. He was like âtheyâre my favorite band!!â And couldnât stop thanking me and giving me âair high-fivesâ. It was so sweet and absolutely made my day.
