Artist Feature: Verhoven
Indie Pop group, Verhoven is a electro-infused project founder by Thrice Nobel and Scott Glenn. The Los Angeles duo, released their self-titled EP in May 2013 which contains catchy tunes surround the themes of paranoia, intoxication and delusion just to name a few! The self-titled debut EP was released in three stages on vrhvn.com in May 2013 and contains a truly unconventional cover of the 1984 Hall & Oates hit “Out of Touch.”
Thrice Nobel showcases his vocal register as he often uses his falsetto throughout which is evident in on “Fancy Boy.” Scott Glenn’s guitar ability is notable across the 5 track EP. Out of Touch is the perfect dance song in my opinion. The combination of Indie, Pop and Rock will give those who love discovering new music something to look forward to. Listen to the EP below:
