I absolutely love your blog & your interpretations on different aspects, I was wondering what your interpretation on sun conjunct venus double whammy in synastry was? Would the people in the conjunction that is tighter relate more to those planets? E.g. would person A relate more to being the sun person if that conjunction is tighter than the less tight aspect (so they would be the venus person in the other aspect) sorry I make no sense lol thank you so much
Hey there! 💕 Thank you so much! 💕 I do my best with them just to make them a lil more?? fun??Â
[Below Cut: Synastry | Sun-Conjunct-Venus || How important are orbs?]
Sun- conjunct- Venus
Sun-conjunct-Venus is really nice to have in another person, it’s kind of subtle? Like most people wouldn’t really realize they have this to another person until it’s expressed more/elaborated on. It’s kind of the? admiration feeling?
It comes unexpectedly sometimes, like you could be talking to a group of people and the Venus person makes a point about something the Sun person personally agrees on. Without having to talk about it, they somehow unknowingly connect to each other base on that principality alone?
As they define it more, there’s the admiration that starts to bloom and refinement starts to add into the context of things. Â
It comes from understanding about the same thing within each other, without having to talk/explain it because their experience to them stem from the same roots (principles) but develops in different circumstances than each other.Â
Like think of a Capricorn Venus | Sagittarius Sun (person A) and a Capricorn Sun | Sagittarius Venus (person B). I think this is what you mean by double whammy?Â
Sun-Venus aspect stems from understanding of each other that becomes noticeable once there’s elaboration/refinement of characteristics are expressed.Â
Kind of like one person refining the other person’s trait (and vice versa) while the other person who’s being refined admires the other person’s ability to develop/utilize said traits. Because they understand it’s coming from the same root/core principle as them.
Orbs/DegreesÂ
As for the orbs/degrees, the core principle/wanting to help each other would stay the same (mutually understood). Since it’s in both of the individual’s synastry.Â
The thing about it is that the aspects is felt on both sides as long as the individuals are self-aware to an extent– and able to healthily balance between each other without ‘pushing’ for too much or feeling like the other reciprocated too little (compensated/feel like they’re ‘owed’ something for their efforts.)
Tighter degrees are likely to play an underlying/overlying role in the relationship. However, it doesn’t always mean it’s the strongest aspect/plays a large part despite it’s degree.Â
Look at the overall picture too, supplementary aspects are just as important.Â
Sometimes the main focus of the relationship isn’t sometimes seen so openly in the luminaries (feeling/association/bond) but rather in the Mercury/Saturn of the aspects because it brings kind of like? a shallower understanding of each other that brings them together in ‘fixing’ a mutual problem.
Whilst Sun-Venus aspects are nice (esp. mutually) it can lead to problems that needs ‘fixing’ as well. Supplementary aspects (look at the other aspects in the synastry) points to more ‘obvious’ problems seen that the Sun-Venus can be used to soothe over as it arises. And Sun-Venus problems are problems in itself that needs some thoughtful care/mindfulness to each other as well.
Like if you’re asking about two Sun-Venus aspects. One with a 0′05 degree and one with a 1′5 degree. And what you’re asking is if the 0′05 degree person would feel this Sun-Venus more significantly? There’s definitely an association to the Sun-Venus that can blindside them to other supplementary aspects in the relationship because they think of it in their feelings/as a principle now.
I’m saying that the problem can start to arise within the conjunction because the ego is associated to the self-expression of another person. So while the 0′05 person may feel strongly associated to the aspect itself, if they aren’t self-aware of the balance from the rest of their synastry it can become detrimental if they don’t atleast try.Â
Kind of like? Tunnel-visioning/perspective-visioning? Strong association of the ‘self’ to another person can lead to trying to ‘refine too much’ (dominate) or control how the other person self-express.Â
At the same time, if they’re the Venus person they may have to watch for following the other blindly and giving too much control over to the Sun. (Being unnaturally compassionate/to the disadvantage of themselves)
Ending Ment
Sun-Venus is really good for getting along with someone, but I think it also brings out the problem that comes with too much association and little self-control when it comes to another person.Â
Because both the Sun/Venus is like, an inner core of a person. It also highlights the fact that synastry/relationship happens in layers. From the shallow layer to the deeper subconsciousness. And sometimes we don’t really understand the shallow layer because the aspects can talk a lot about the deeper-substance/soothing methods instead of the immediate association to each other.
Learning to associate/bring out the elements in synastry (the other aspects) is important in balancing ‘too much of a good thing’ into expel some of that energy/find something to do.Â
I hope this answers your question 💕 Thanks for sending the ask in! 💕Â
