fun fact is when naming her, I did not know 'facile' was a word. However this could be neat as a lore detail. Everyone thinks Facille's work lacks depth bc her role is more 'tame' in comparison to the other Harvesters:

Pride handles most of the Rituals from beginning to end, and has the inquisitors who initiate final Judgement

Dread manages the animal population, Endmire and handles the Penitent Hunt

Avarice is in charge of all sinstone records + sealing the dangerous souls in the crypts

Desire keeps the nobles in check and works with the Council of Blood regarding affairs in Nathria

Envy takes care of new arrivials and anima taxes (inflation sucks)

Dominion was internal security imo

Thinking about Facille bc she was always considered too soft for the original Harvester of Wrath. It sounds like from title that she handles souls violently when she does the exact opposite- she strives to instead understand why some souls acted the way they do, and what drove an individual to commit a crime.

She didn't like that the Military Ward was called that, because to her Revendreth was meant to be a place of hope, redemption and new beginnings instead of damnation. It was too violent to her.

Kumire (the Stonewright) was the first Venthyr to be redeemed, and Facille was the one that helped her through her Ritual of Absolution. In her Ritual of Judgement, Valen (the Crowned Inquisitor, first Harvestor of Pride) had argued Kumire's merciless slaughter of countless should have damned her to the Maw, while Facille refuted that Kumire had done so to protect her people. Despite the extent of her crime, it wasn't out of malice but rather protection. It was a major case in the history of Revendreth regarding intent behind crime.
