#vendor problems

The sun is boiling my candles so there are bubbles on some of them. Kid came up and before I could warn them, stuck their finger in the bubble and gouged out a bunch of hot wax... So tired of the kids this year.

I have a teapot with tea up combo where the candle is in the teacup with the teapot sitting on top. I had to tape the lid to the teapot on because people were constantly lifting the teapot and flipping it so the lid fell off and broke. People are still trying to lift the whole thing by the teapot lid like...and the teapot is sticking to the top of the teacup because it's melting, but even with me telling them that, they're picking it up by the teapot anyway and letting the teacup fall instead of holding down the teacup or something. Like, I am telling them what's going on and to be careful and it's like it goes in one ear and out the other. And don't get me started on unsupervised kids.

Hope you all don't mind me live blogging my adventures at craft fairs and events as a small business owner/vendor.

Child sticks their finger in a candle and goes"ewww" when they get wax on their finger. Like what did you think would happen poking a melting candle? Then a grown ass adult does the same thing two minutes later...Tuesdays are for stupid people apparently. They are out in droves tonight.

Little girl just sneezed into her hands and then proceeded to touch my merchandise. Fucking hate kids, man. No parent in sight.

Any other vendors out there think that some store customers purposely do stuff to annoy you? I’m pretty sure a guy just crop dusted me because I’m stocking the low shelf of an aisle and he stands behind me for like a minute without buying anything and then walked away. It stinks here now.
