Just like any other makeup junkie, I have always been a fan of beauty sponges. I’ve used different types, from the unbranded ones to the well loved Beauty Blender. I love how good it can evenly blend out my makeup. Tho I always hate it when it comes to their bath time. Regular sponges tend to absorb too much makeup making it hard to wash off

I got really excited when my virtual kumare @ dhagypsy sent me this. (She was the lucky giveaway winner of Kish and Blair’s and 2 other friends were gifted with the same prize. Yay!)

The beauty sponge is different from the rest because of it’s Microfiber texture. The brand Juno & Co was the first one to invent this but inexpensive version/dupe seems very promising too.

Thoughts: 🌸 It doesn’t soak up much product making me use less foundation and concealer compared to using a regular beauty sponge.

🌸 - because it doesn’t soak up much product then it is 10000x easier to clean.

🌸 It blends like a sponge and brush in one. (It helps me have seamless and full coverage foundation even with my breakouts right now)

🌸 It’s soft and light weight on the face

🌸 Plus points for the transparent container making it travel-ready.

🌸 I tried using it for compact powders and it’s pretty nice too!

Verdict: I love it. I will continue to use it. Right now, I could really say that I now prefer using this over my other beauty sponges and makeup brushes. 🙂
