On this day last year.... I was in staying in Paris combining my love of friends, travel, fashion and baking. 👩🏽‍🍳 While I was there I took a baking class and learned how to make macarons. A French macaroon is meringue-based confection / cookie made with egg white, icing sugar, granulated sugar, almond powder or ground almond. ⚜️ A typical macaron is presented with a ganache, buttercream or jam filling sandwiched between two such cookies.
