Happy fall, mine and Elliot’s 10th anniversary!!! 💍💛

I love this time of year so much; it’s my favorite. 🍂🍁🎃 Not just for the colors and the magic in the air, but because it’s when I found my Elli 🧡🧡 Just as the leaves turned, my soul remembered him, a love written beyond time, shining in the glow of autumn. 🍂✨

I believe the ‘veil between worlds’ thing is a Victorian belief that was adopted into neopaganism and applied to Samhain/Halloween. I don’t believe there is a veil to thin. I believe the only thing between us and the spiritual world is ourselves and our ability or willingness to be receptive and perceive them.

I don’t believe Halloween is a special day in which this happens. However- Halloween is a day in which people collectively focus on the dead and all things supernatural. So perhaps that helps in perceiving and being willing to perceive the dead.
