Customers ask me how I decided to launch my own organic skincare range. So here is a quick potted history of your journey. In 1991 I graduated as a primary school teacher. I went straight into a position in an inner city school in Leeds. 6 months on and I knew this vocation wasn't for me - too many internal politics and not enough support & encouragement of the children. Back to university to do a psychology degree, just over half way through it, on my first wedding anniversary, whilst on holiday, I suffered a stroke. I was 25. This was a crucial turning point. I reevaluated everything in my life. My career, situations, family, friends and I decided to clean sweep the whole of my life and live my life FOR ME. I refused all orthodox medication, much to the annoyance of my medical team. Instead, I turned to holistic approaches. I wasn't disappointed - in just 3 months I regained most movement & my speech through reflexology and Reiki. A year later I enrolled at college and after a period is 4 years I graduated in various modalities of holistic health including sports and remedial massage and reflexology. I then became a lecturer of therapy for further education. I've never looked back. I've worked with thousands of clients over the past 20 years, some high profile clients within the media. I've been principal of my own therapy training establishment for over 17 years. I've been an advocate of all things organic since 1994 and experienced the full range of skin facets from my clients - so why not combine the two?
