Vegas 1.14 reaction post. SPOILERS.
Overall, it was a good episode. Jack is apparently an idiot when heâs under stress and pressure. I mean he all but wrote âI DID ITâ in this episode. I think Ralph has an inkling but is fighting it maybe. Sometimes you canât tell with Ralph. The side mystery was interesting. It helped flesh Dixon out a bit more but they could have done more fleshing.
Beware of spoilers. Please keep in mind while reading the reaction post, I write it as I watch, so if something seems amiss, I was making assumptions that got answered later.
Itâs too bad weâre doing this storyline so early in the show. I hope they donât drop the ball and let Jack off too easy.
I should have known theyâd bring this song into this episode. So very appropriate.
Jack, you are so effing lucky that youâre on a retro show. But, at the same time, heâs not lucky at all.
Oh, Dixon. âHow do you say, âWhatâs your room number?ââ
Oh good. They know each other.
Of course, youâre going to do time.
Thatâs some really cute hair on Mia.
âI donât know.â Oh, Jack. Oh, Jack. Oh, Jack, you terrible idiot.
Of course Savino knows. Why else would it be Jack alone with him right now?
I wonder if theyâll think to get the prints off the faucet handles?
Miaâs very intelligent. Sheâll figure the full story out eventually. Maybe not immediately but eventually.
Why would he want to torture Savino? Yes, thank you, Ralph. My question exactly.
Oh, Jack, donât start acting weird. Your brother is going to catch on.
Oh, Jack. Youâre a horrible liar. Come on, Ralph, get your instincts churning.
Well, Katherine is getting the Savino suspect train starting.
OMFG. âundercover as a shady guy.â Oh, Dixon, you sweet little cream puff.
I know where they are! I can show you. Oh, Jesus, Dixon.
Sneaky. Sneaky, Savino. But will Mia fall for it? She is really smart.
Come on, Jack, itâs a motel room. The third man could be anyone if we go by fingerprints.
Dixon, you are not owning that leather jacket.
What if the guy comes around and shoots Dixonâs friend?
Random rain in Vegas. Are you going to cause the friend to spin out and die in a crash maybe?
Carâs coming apart. And thereâs the skid andâŠwtf explosion. We didnât need the explosion.
Ah. Right. It was a house not a motel. Why did I remember that wrong?
Jack, stop being suspicious.
Oh, good. We didnât kill the friend in the crash.
Tonightâs the night of the cute hair.
lol âAnd she also gave me her number.â Oh, Ralph.
Oh, Mia, baby. Hugs for Mia.
But, Mia is right. She needs to find out both of you are involved here. But, of course, Jack doesnât know Savino is also involved.
âI want to be head of casino operations.â I love you so hard right now, Mia.
Itâs bad cop and bad cop.
I like Katherineâs direct approach.
Jack, stop being suspicious.
Oh, Katherine, baby. I donât know if Laura is a bargaining chip.
Dixon, what are you doing?
Ah, divorce papers. The plot thickens.
Ralph, are you trying to freak Jack out on purpose? Are you trying to make him confess to you or would you have said that that way if you didnât know?
Oh, Jack, you idiot. Lying all over the place and you didnât even wipe the gun down.
Children, children, please. We know you knew each other in school, but seriously.
Ah, this kid. He wants to work at the Savoy maybe?
JACK. JACK. I SWEAR TO GOD. Not only are you being an idiot editing with a pen on a pencil thing, you are being an idiot editing anything at all.
I mean if ever there was a SUSPICIOUS thing in that folder it would be the one thatâs written in pen and pencil.
Come on, Jack, everyone knew Mia would take the job.
