Vendetta and roses-chapter 4
The Cotton club
Luca Changretta was out to prove himself to her. She assured him several times they had plenty of time to enjoy everything New York offered over time, not all in one night.
His response was to shrug nonchalantly.
He was going to see her smile, she didn't realize it yet but he lived for the little tug that started at the corner of her lips. Elizabeth's smile shone brighter than the Chrysler building.
It was his reward.
He'd taken her to dinner with a live act. They ate on the side of the stage so Lizzie got to see all the costumes, dancers and band members.
The food, drinks and company were divine.
He'd taken her to Harlem next. She'd never seen such a lively neighborhood. Poets, writers and all bohemian artists walked the streets freely. Jazz spilled out of doorways as did the light and drunks.
It was a loud nighttime paradise.
She hadn't stopped smiling all night. It was a drug in his veins encouraging him to push them both a little further.
Every once and awhile she'd catch him smiling, watching her. He'd pretend to look away.
She loved it. She had the power of Luca changretta, the Mafia boss in New York city.
This is what she imagined feeling young and in puppy love felt like. Soft, warm, fuzzy and full of lively moments.
And God, did she feel alive.
"It looks good on you Lizzie." Luca's deep voice floated through her ears and nestled low in her belly. They were seated at the club. A private table off to the back. He'd asked for it not for security reasons, but because no one would see him slip his hand under the table and rest it on her knee.
"What?" He'd bought her clothes, a hair cut, make up and jewelry, real jewelry nothing was paste or fake around Luca Changretta. She ashed her cigarette and turned into him. That caused his tattoo'd hand to slide further up her leg.
Her dark eyebrow rose in challenge but not protest.
"Your smile. You ain't stopped grinning since you got dressed and we left the house." She was glowing like the gilded chandeliers. She out shown them all as far as he was concerned.
"I've been to Shelby parties and to the race tracks, that wasn't pleasant, that last part. This has been wonderful. I feel bad though." Her eyes were soft as was her tone. She tilted her head giving him access to view the curves of her face.
When she opened up she was a lovely woman.
He smirked and leaned forward. They both knew she had him. By the balls or heart, whatever she chose.
"You're doing all these things for me and I'm not able to figure out something special for you yet. I want to do something for you, Luca." She yelled over the music. Her soft tiny hand snaked across the table and over his gun calloused hand and she squeezed.
His breath caught. She was intentional now in her seduction.
"You are doing a lot for me, you're alive Elizabeth, truly alive tonight. You are radiant." He smiled at her. She looked like a tall lanky goddess.
He wanted to worship. He didn't mind falling to his knees for her.
When they got home, they were hot and heavy. It had started in the vehicle. Lizzie was quite a hands-on woman.
She was passionate, warm and amorous.
Luca couldn't have been more pleased with his marriage at the moment.
The staff scattered around them making themselves invisible as they stumbled on the staircase. He pulled back so they didn't tumble.
She walked up with her head turned slightly making sure he was following. The smirk was like a leash on him.
He'd follow her to hell at that moment and every moment afterwards.
She was pulling off his coat as they tumbled into the bedroom. His mouth hadn't let any bare patch of skin she had exposed.
She squealed when her legs hit the bed and she fell backwards. She had heard the door closed and lock.Luca was fast, his long strides had him upon her again in minutes.
He descended on her like a starved wolf. His nips and kisses were deep and insistent.
"Elizabeth." He grabs her gently and pulls her back. He looked at her searching her eyes for any slight hesitation. He refused to have her regret him.
"What's the matter, did I do something?" She stepped out looking disheveled and concerned. She slid the shoulder of a dress up. She misunderstood. His hand slid it back back down earning him a small smile again.
"No Tesoro, no,nothing I ain't wanted you to do." His voice was deep and full of need. He ached for her.
"Well then stop stopping me then?" She grinned and grabbed him by the tie forcing him closer.
"Lizzie." He rarely called her that. She actually pouted. That was a huge victory. She had slipped, the mask gone. This was her unbridled and honest.
"Wow, look at that lip. I like this side of you. We were both drunk. I want to make sure you want this and it ain't the alcohol talking." He would die a thousand deaths if she looked at him with concern and fear tomorrow.
She sobered up then. At every corner he took her by surprise.
"Do you want me,Luciano?" She purred his name. She wanted this, but he needed her to verbalize to them both, admit it out loud before God.
"Right now, oh hell yes. And every minute you breathe." He kissed her senseless. She giggled into his neck when his kisses went back to her neck. She rubbed her leg against his crotch causing him to groan.
This woman was sin and his.
"Then have me. I'll have no regrets. I promise." She pulled him down on top of her and they groaned into each other's mouth as the friction increased between them.
