Well I managed to get a 64.17% which is better than I thought I would do considering I learned I had a midterm like 3 hours ago. Still feel like a failure. But no pulling!
Finally done with chapter 2! I’m so happy, okay, gotta be done with 4 by next Thursday...
It's too early to be finding surface areas.
One of my fucking homework problems
A clarinetist is playing the glissando at the beginning of Rhapsody in Blue, while Hermione (who arrived late) is walking toward her seat. If the (changing) frequency of the note is f and Hermione is moving toward the clarinetist at speed v, then she actually hears the frequency ϕ given by,
ϕ = f((c + v)/c)
where c is the (constant) speed of sound in air, about 330m/sec. At this particular moment, the frequency is f=400Hz and is increasing at a rate of 100Hz per second. At that same moment, Hermione is moving toward the clarinetist at 4m/sec and decelerating at 2m/sec2. What is the perceived frequency ϕ she hears at that moment? How fast is it changing? Does Hermione hear the clarinet’s not becoming higher of lower?
FUCK YOU
(at least they used the name Hermione)

What do you get if you cross a mosquito with a mountain climber? Answer: You can't cross a vector with a scalar!

What, pray tell, is a parameterization?
Oh yeah. What I'm being tested on tomorrow. Wait, what is it?
Sucks when you do a problem correctly, and then check it carelessly. Then you go off on a frustrating hour and a half long tangent trying to figure out how to do it...
At least I understood it and got it right though I suppose...
