To old faces and new, those who have stuck with me through my six month hiatus, to everyone who can see this -- whether you believe in this day or not, just know you're loved by someone, somewhere. That you are worthy, you are amazing, you are fantastic, and you are going to make it. And also -- that you're definitely special to someone.

It’s February - the month of love - and Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, so what better way to spend it than to hold a little event? Yeah, because my only S/O is a 2D character, but I ain’t complainin’–

Here’s what you can send in:

♡ Sweet recommendations Your favorite romantic stories. It can be an imagine that someone else wrote, fan fiction, a book, a TV show, anything involving romance. Tragic romances are welcome, too–

Ok.  that’s how she wants to play it.  Fine by him.  He was really hoping not to have to take himself down in his first week at a new school, but she’s left him no choice.

His first order of business is to stand in the front of the classroom and take a carefully, lovingly centered and focused picture of Daisy’s artwork, then just as conspicuously set it as his phone wallpaper.  Fortunately, years of poorly drawn dicks and public school have taught him how to erase permanent marker from whiteboard--he retraces her drawings with erasable marker and wipes hers away in a fraction of the time it took her to draw it.  Still, he gets a detention for it.  

He very nearly gets another detention for the gnomes, but he manages to buy them off with the cough drops that have been collecting lint in the bottom of his backpack since his last cold; with Daisy’s candy long since eaten, their loyalties are surprisingly easy to sway.  

They march out of the room one by one, leaving their stupid fucking harps by the door.  He digs deep to find the willpower not to stomp on the pile of tiny instruments--they didn’t even use them.  The daisies, of course, he just leaves.  

He wasted precious time with the car and the chocolates--they were too easy to stop--and he knows he needs to go twice as hard to gain back the ground he lost.  So he skips his next two classes to spend some quality time with moviemaker pro and photoshop.  

By the time the high school lunch hour rolls around, he’s managed to hang a white sheet (stolen from a linen closet) at the front of the dining hall and set up a projector (politely asked for by a very helpful Professor Jersey Devil).  When the hall is reasonably full, he hits the lights and hits play.  Daisy’s face is crudely cobbled over the actress’s, a strange stop motion of almost-right angles and snippets of saved snapchat videos.  Every time the narrator says the girl’s name, the audio cuts to Nick’s voice saying “Daisy LeBlanc”.  He nearly forgets to stick his own face over Kiefer Sutherland’s, and he leaves the floating axe logo because he feels it adds a certain il ne sais quois.  He’s about to finish when he’s struck by a sudden bolt of inspiration, and as Kiefer Sutherland walks away he adds his own, improvised voice over--”We’re not actually old yet, so this is me, doing it differently.”  It’s not his finest work, but given the time restraints he’s actually pretty pleased with himself.
