“Is Dom hanging out with the Lestranges still?” Lucy hadn’t seen her cousin all night, and probably for the better. Lucy didn’t tell anyone yet about her breakup, but she didn’t want Dominique to be the one gloating about it. But now that Lucy thought about it, Dom could have Aidan – or however much Aidan there really was, which wasn’t much to Lucy.

That was the only thing that she and Victoire had ever really talked about, aside from the few times Percy and Audrey made Lucy shadow Victoire to inspire her to be a healer. Lucy the typical chatterbox couldn’t even find smalltalk to chat about, because there wasn’t a lot that Victoire was involved in that Lucy cared about. At least that was better than being in the middle of Lucy’s wrath, though she had a lot to go around. But she was a lot smarter to start talking smack about her own cousins… to her cousin.

“I thought it was around here.” she mumbled under her breath as she searched for that one spot where her phone has signal around these parts. The Burrow, though wonderful and warm, was filled with magic, so all electronics refused to work near it. A few years ago she had found a blessed little spot, but it seems it stopped working. 

The crackling of leaves announce her cousin’s approach. Turning around, she grins at Vic and waves her phone as a greeting. “Is Grandma calling us in?”. now, while she doesn’t need to check her phone at this moment, she was hoping to at least to check her instagram feed. “Ugh, I am going to put a flag on the spot next time I find it! I should have done that ages ago!

her workplace is a mess.   the healers are all stressed and the patients are pretending they know more about their illnesses than the healers,  and it’s driving her insane to stay in that place knowing that wanderlust is calling out for her.  and maybe,  it also makes her feel even lonelier than she ever did before.  one healer joked a while ago that if victoire couldn’t get a steady relationship now,  then it’s about time she gets married to her profession.  she couldn’t let that happen.  she loves being a healer,  but sometimes she feels as though she’s devoted much of herself to other people that she’s missing out on what life has to offer.

         her quarter life crisis feels like shit and she doesn’t really know how to cope with it in a healthy way.  she finds herself in front of the bar with a sunken expression on her face.  it takes her a few seconds to register the fact that the barmaid is already asking for what she wants.  victoire scans the bar quickly before asking for gin.    “  firewhiskey doesn’t do the trick sometimes.  had to rely on muggle stuff so it all goes well.  “    she adds with a smile.

Autumn smiled at what the other said, a lot of the muggle drinks did have higher alcohol content. Most tasted like shit though, it’s like they didn’t even care to mask the alcohol at all. The girl turned to the display behind her to grab the gin the other asked for “Drinking your problems away doesn’t actually work ya’know.” she started, as she poured it into a glass and then slid it towards the other “Talking about it is sometimes more helpful.” she then said, as she again gave them that smile of hers. The girl sometimes offered to talk, it’s a rare occurrence but this one seems like she needed it a lot after that statement of hers alone. They’re strangers, but she’d rather not have a death in her hands. Well, indirectly but still.

“Ate Molly! You’re like -- the best Ate ever, and I love you. Because who the fuck else would like, get me? Especially when our dear father is in one of his moods... anyway -- I’m like so proud of you because you have like the hardest job in the world but you like... really need to get laid, Ate... love youuuuuu.”
