Einfrid has seen these many people TOGETHER. She somewhat remembers some royal ceremony, perched on her mother’s arms as the whole ordeal happened. She remembers disliking the COMMOTION and the light bothered her eyes then.
This. This, however, is much WORSE. Through the shoulders that bump onto hers, she sees yet again, a lot of people. Her people. But her distraction lasts no more than a moment, as her hand is tugged by one familiar face. TORUNN, daughter of THOR and SIF, granddaughter of ODIN and FRIGGA.
She knows her. Everyone knows her and her family. It is this familiarity that has Einfrid feeling safe for once in what seems to be a long, LONG time. “Lady Princess--”, she tries to say, but her voice breaks into a little more than a whimper. ‘Be strong, child’, the voice of her father echoes in her head.
Einfrid is not the only one Torunn leads, the young girl soon realizes. Her other hand is also taken by another child and so on, all led by the PRINCESS. In her haste, head going side to side as she tries to comprehend her surroundings, Einfrid trips, the grip on the fellow youngster being undone and she hangs only to Torunn.
