it’s an unfortunate thing, really. that time and time again, in what appears as human nature, people tend to shun or vilify what was different. ❛ in my experience people don’t like what they cannot understand and even less, what they cannot control. that’s not your fault, eddie. it’s best to ignore them, ❜ newt was no stranger to cruel tongues or stray ankles, big bullies with nasty vitriol. at every corner of the world they seemed to stand. ❛ or, prove them wrong. ❜ the thing about them though, was that they were truly pitiable. because at their center, their very core, newt found, was only something hollow.
