VCI: Children's Carnival Promo (Reverse)]
Now this is worth a laugh. Some of the stuff the announcer say in reverse sounds funny. For example, during the Wind in the Willows part, the male announcer appears to say “Fast phone”, and during the Fourways Farm part, saying “Fourways Farm” backwards makes it sound like “Marv’s a wolf”. This is cursed yet funny!

Protect Your Metal Parts with VCI Sheets: The Ultimate Solution for Corrosion Prevention
When it comes to safeguarding metal parts during storage and transportation, corrosion is one of the most significant challenges. Even in controlled environments, metal components are vulnerable to environmental factors such as moisture, salt, and air, all of which can cause rust and deterioration. This is where VCI (Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor) sheets come into play. These specialized sheets offer a highly effective, reliable, and cost-efficient solution for protecting metals from corrosion, making them an essential product for industries that deal with metal components.
In this blog, we’ll explore the benefits of VCI sheets, how they work, and why they are an invaluable tool for preserving metal parts, as well as introduce you to a trusted supplier of VCI products.
What is a VCI Sheet?
A VCI sheet is a protective packaging material designed to prevent corrosion on metal surfaces. It is made of paper, plastic, or other substrates infused with vapor corrosion inhibitors (VCIs) that are capable of releasing chemicals that form a protective layer on the surface of metal objects. This layer prevents the metal from coming into contact with moisture and contaminants that cause corrosion.
VCI sheets are widely used in various industries such as automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, and shipping, where metal components need to be stored for extended periods or transported across different environments. These sheets provide a protective barrier without the need for greases, oils, or other coatings that can be messy and difficult to remove.
How Do VCI Sheets Work?
VCI sheets work by emitting vapors that are absorbed by the metal surfaces they come in contact with. These vapors form a protective molecular layer that prevents moisture, oxygen, and other corrosive elements from reacting with the metal. The corrosion inhibitors in the VCI sheet are designed to be non-toxic and do not interfere with the performance or functionality of the metal parts.
The VCI layer works by creating a protective field around the metal part, ensuring that the metal remains free from corrosion, rust, and oxidation even in harsh conditions. This is especially beneficial for long-term storage or when shipping parts across different climates or environments. Since the vapor corrosion inhibitors are emitted by the VCI sheets, they provide continuous protection without requiring direct contact with the metal parts, making them a convenient and efficient solution.
Benefits of VCI Sheets
Prevents Corrosion and Rust The most significant benefit of VCI sheets is their ability to prevent corrosion and rust formation on metal parts. By creating a protective barrier that shields the metal from moisture and air, VCI sheets effectively preserve the integrity of your components during storage and transportation.
Non-Toxic and Environmentally Friendly Unlike traditional corrosion inhibitors that may use oils or chemicals that can be harmful to the environment, VCI sheets are non-toxic and safe for both humans and the environment. They provide corrosion protection without leaving harmful residues or requiring hazardous disposal.
Cost-Effective Protection VCI sheets offer an economical solution to corrosion prevention. They eliminate the need for expensive coatings, oils, or other protective treatments. Additionally, they save on maintenance costs by reducing the risk of corrosion-related damage to metal parts.
Ease of Use VCI sheets are incredibly easy to use. They can be simply wrapped around metal parts or placed in boxes or containers to provide a protective layer. There is no need for special equipment, and they can be used in a wide range of applications, making them a convenient and efficient solution.
Long-Term Storage Protection For industries that store metal parts for extended periods, VCI sheets provide long-lasting protection. Whether parts are stored in a warehouse or shipping container, the sheets continue to protect against corrosion for months, even in humid or corrosive environments.
Versatility in Application VCI sheets are versatile and can be used with a variety of metals, including steel, iron, aluminum, copper, and brass. They are ideal for industries such as automotive manufacturing, machinery parts, electronics, and any other sector dealing with metal components that require storage or transportation.

Making With Mattimus
(An Experimental Design)
Hello everyone! Welcome to Making With Mattimus, the part of Tumblr that allows me to showcase all of my creations, to all of you! Today, I will be showcasing a character, that started from a weird place, but ended up becoming one of my favourite characters I have built, a character called VCI, based on the logo of the same name.
The image above is of the 1995 logo, which is what I designed the character around.
This will be divided into sections so that you can understand more of the history behind the characters I've made and to help get an idea of my building process.
Version 1 (2018)
Here is the first version of VCI that I built, and is not as good looking now that I'm looking back on it, especially in the arms. It's not terrible, but it's my least favourite of the three versions I've made so far.
Version 2 - (2019)
Here is the second version of the character and you can see things start to take shape here, due to limited pieces at the time, I had to get creative with how I made the character, specifically in the arms and upper torso, which was loose at times.
Version 3 (2023)
Here is VCI version 3, which is the latest version of the character, as well as my favourite of the three that I've built. It's got references to the previous two versions of VCI, so see if you can find them!
Size Comparison with a couple of my older mocs. The left one is Mattimus, and the right is a redesign of a friend's MOC named V.2, but I called it V.3
Lego allows me to expand my imagination and to continue unleashing my creativity! Something like this can show that a Lego MOC can be formed from practically anything, even old logos from the 1990s!
Until next time everyone, just keep going!
