#vc stream

Heyo!

So Roadkill Rambles aka the Vulture Culture Livestreams @nabsthevulture​ and I have been doing for the last couple years had to be put on hold while we and our moderator were all dealing with some hectic moves. We’re finally all settled, and will be able to start streaming again regularly!

We decided to open up a Discord server so we could stream, post reference images, and answer questions in a more organized manner. I plan to stream at least two Saturdays a month doing skinning, tanning, and bone cleaning demos while I work through some customer animals,  shop stock, and personal projects, as well as Q&As and some other sessions.

Tonight @nabsthevulture is working on this lovely roadkill coyote. Demo will be for a full skinning and body breakdown for the skeleton. I will be joining to answer questions in the voice chat c:

Tonight @nabsthevulture and I will be doing a Vulture Culture Q&A session while I’m working on some customer animals and shop stock. This will include a skull simmering, dry preserve, and wet preserve demo. It’s going to be much more relaxed and informal stream, pretty much a hang out time for other vultures to come chill with us for an hour or two while prepping some critters c: 

VC Stream is live! Tonight we’ll be doing a taxidermy prep demo on a red coyote (skinning out heads faces, turning lips/eyes/ears, skinning out tails and paws, and carving down skulls for bone cleaning). As usual, @kinglabradorite and @nabsthevulture will be joining to moderate the chat and help answer questions!

So back in December I did a few livestreams of skinning demos for the VC. Due to a whole mess of life situations I wasn’t able to continue doing regular streams for a while, but it looks like things have finally calmed down enough to where I can host a stream Saturday evening :D 

I have a few interesting animals in the freezer so I was wondering what you all would like to see during the upcoming stream? Here’s the options:

Roadkill Alligator - Reptile skin and prep + carcass carving demo

Black Male Coyote - Partial skinning, prepping mountable skins + raw skull carving demo

Red Female Coyote - Partial skinning, prepping mountable skins + raw skull carving demo

The coyotes will have the same demo, it’s just a matter of which mutation c:
