like. the only route martlet lives is the one where clover dies. every route martlet dies she blames clover fully.

quiet stray and aviation are parallel songs that play in the same scene. the former has flowey's motif. but it doesnt play if martlet's with clover. she directly overrides flowey's manipulation efforts.

but she doesn't trust them enough to not blame them when flowey kills her on neutral. even though they change her mind about humans (in more pacifistic neutral runs mostly)

even in the geno route clover gives her. a WEIRD level of respect. like they give her their name (the only time they do so in geno). they let her retreat at least twice. they consider her a worthy opponent. and apparently can't find a reason to hate her. she specifically asks them for help while melting.

Some of the scars coming back are physically painful or uncomfortable, others mentally. Reminders of times he was hurt or scared.

I imagine this is in some timeline where he has either one or both of the prime souls or v1 around. Very much a kind of hurt/comfort thing. Minos rubbing soothing creams into the biggest scars or v1 keeping him warm while the discomfort passes. It's kind of scary, none of them really understand why it's happening (it's happening because I want them to suffer and then be comforted), but they are just scars. Gabriel isn't being wounded. Eventually they stop appearing, and then eventually even longer they start to fade like normal scars do.

Also thinking about how he would look. It wouldn't just be messes of scarred mass, but a fascinating map of both battle injuries and banged-your-knee-on-a-table injuries alike. Being able to see where his hands were worn through carrying his weapons, where his armor protected him from harm, a spot where he jammed his finger in a door once, a scar so close to his throat that it must have nearly killed him.

So Roadkill Rambles aka the Vulture Culture Livestreams @nabsthevulture​ and I have been doing for the last couple years had to be put on hold while we and our moderator were all dealing with some hectic moves. We’re finally all settled, and will be able to start streaming again regularly!

We decided to open up a Discord server so we could stream, post reference images, and answer questions in a more organized manner. I plan to stream at least two Saturdays a month doing skinning, tanning, and bone cleaning demos while I work through some customer animals,  shop stock, and personal projects, as well as Q&As and some other sessions.

frisk getting taller over time, because you know. they're about that age where kids become like 60% leg for a little while.

chara does not process this fully because they're in the same body so like. it doesn't fully register...

...until a chara revival situation, where chara has to reckon with the fact that they are naturally very short. and frisk very much is not.

thinking about dess promising to take noelle to the city some day. dess realising there's nothing past hometown. dess becoming so much more angry and paranoid in the face of that. dess running away to try to find something else and finding and making dark worlds afterwards. dess becoming obsessed with the idea that there can be other things in dark worlds and whatnot. dess just being consumed by that rage and escapism until theyre someone unrecognizable.
