we had gone out to do our morning routine in the woods, when suddenly he was no longer by my side

The cops and the people in charge of the area did everything they could to find him, but after 8 months they closed the case... leaving as the final verdict that my brother had died

I cried disconsolately every night and during the days I didn't even have the strength to get up

I had lost my brother... My only reason for existing. The whole world had saddened, the news were full of that situation and nothing ever felt like it did before.

Not until the day he came back...

On July 27, 2023 at 7:30 am, in the exact same forest, he came out of the woods as if nothing had happened.

He was back...my brother was back! The same cheerful and enthusiastic guy who had left a year ago.

Everything seemed to return to normal, the world was full of color again and everyone was celebrating his return.

But I was quite confused... He was exactly the same. He was happy, healthy and curious, coming back a year later. But who is this guy?

He can't be my brother... I perfectly remember when i destroyed him with my tiger creature power suit, tearing him apart until all his blood was drained, hearing his screams of agony while his heart stopped beating.

But then... whose arrival were we celebrating...? To whom was I faking a smile every time I saw him...? What was that thing I was calling my 'brother'...?

It can't be Chris... Because I remember exactly where I hid his remains.
