The FBI relied on CrowdStrike's "conclusion" to blame Russia for hacking DNC servers, though the private firm never produced a final report and the FBI never asked them to.
CrowdStrike, the controversial cybersecurity firm that the Democratic National Committee chose over the FBI in 2016 to examine its compromised computer servers, never produced an un-redacted or final forensic report for the government because the FBI never required it to, the Justice Department has admitted.... In other words CrowdStrike, upon which the FBI relied to conclude that Russia hacked the DNC, never completed a final report and only turned over three redacted drafts to the government.... At a time of high tension in the 2016 presidential campaign, when the late Sen. John McCain and others were calling Russian "hacking" an "act of war," the FBI settled for three redacted "draft reports" from CrowdStrike rather than investigate the alleged hacking itself, the court document shows. Then FBI Director James Comey admitted in congressional testimony that he chose not to take control of the DNC's "hacked" computers, and did not dispatch FBI computer experts to inspect them, but has had trouble explaining why. In his testimony, he conceded that "best practices" would have dictated that forensic experts gain physical access to the computers. Nevertheless, the FBI decided to rely on forensics performed by a firm being paid for by the DNC.... Dimitri Alperovitch, a CrowdStrike co-founder, is an opponent of Russian President Vladimir Putin and a senior fellow at the anti-Russian Atlantic Council think tank in Washington.
So now we know that the CIA is capable, or has at the very least, worked to hack into modern car computer systems, which is illuminating considering the mysterious death of Michael Hastings, who died in a violent car crash when it suddenly accelerated until a fatal crash into a palm tree weeks after publishing a story about why democrats enjoy spying on Americans and hours after speaking to a wikileaks lawyer and days after expressing fear over FBI investigation over a “Big story” he was working on. The LA Weekly revealed he was on the trail of new reports about the CIA as well on the eve of his mysterious death.
Perhaps the constant attacks on the trump administration is over fears that the Trump administration, given the new President’s affinity for getting even with his enemies, is that he will blow everything wide open for the sake of exacting revenge on Obama (trumps hatred for Obama should be obvious) and his democrat, republican, and alphabet soup spy agency allies. Considering the Obama Administration’s affinity for rampant surveillance, they probably had uncontrolled and illegal surveillance of Trump and lost their mind when Trump won, because now they couldn’t be secure in knowing a Hillary administration would bury it for good and that it would be a matter of time before the Trump Administration would pick up on the paper trail and seize on it to send a number of people, including Obama, to prison.
Think about it. The DNC manipulated the democratic process to ensure Clinton would get the nomination against Sanders and her whole campaign was akin to laying back with her arm out like “PRESIDENCY, PLEASE.” The FBI shrugged off her clear corruption and email scandal. But the FBI, the CIA and other agencies are now ALL HANDS ON DECK in dismantling the Trump Administration.

Yes, that would be that the Iraqies have Weapons of Mass Destruction and that the complete invasion and occupation of Iraq was necessary.

Be informed, don’t just jump on flashy headlines that claim there is no hope for safety or privacy.
Journalists that have hastily thrown articles together and are shouting from the rooftops that Signal and WhatsApp’s encryption protocols have been compromised are flat out wrong.
There has been no evidence found of this thus far in the documents. The leaks talk about getting malware into the devices and then compromising the phone first, but the apps themselves are as of yet untouched.
Direct your outrage at the actual problems that were revealed: like intelligence agencies withholding knowledge of exploits / buying them and then leaving them wide open for use by any actor, or how the CIA writes its malware code to obscure its USG origin, enabling them to perform false-flag attacks, among many of the other reports that came out of the first Vault 7 leak.
