Vashj's Shadowlands model not having the medusa snakes like her alive model but just some tentacle hair thing implies that all those snakes had individual souls and I'm not sure how I feel about that.

Also btw I'm still right about Vashj being a better transgender allegory than Pelagos. If you like Pelagos that's fine, but Vashj reclaiming her identity and being seen for who she is by discarding her night elven beauty and actively making the choice to do so is leagues more impactful to me than Pelagos who Woke Up A Man.

I feel kind of bad for how ignored a basic element of Vashj's story is. She didn't have an identity before she became a naga, she was simply an Aszhara copycat, desperate to impress her and be her favorite. She did her best to look exactly like Aszhara to get her approval and no one wants to acknowledge that when they draw her.
