Considering a hypothetical scenario where you, alone or with your partner, want to adopt someone, baby or kid (as in, human to raise who may not legally be of age to choose for themselves). Setting aside any legal obligation that probably change from one country to another and would render this poll useless. Would you prefer if:
The kid keeps their whole identity from before you (providing it is known)
The kid keeps their family name and you choose another first name
The kid keeps their first name and you give them your family name
You give the kid a whole new first name and your family name
