rousseau, van gogh, monet, renoir
van gogh: would you rather become famous after death or famous in life but forgotten after death?
famous in life bc 1 the whole fine art thing aint too easy money wise 2 van gogh was so sad and it makes me sad and its so cruel 3 iāve always been a little enamoured with the idea of being famous/well-known.
monet: what do your parents want you to do for a living?
theyāre pretty supportive of me doing what i want to do, which iām thankful for. none of thatĀ ābe a lawyer/doctor/etcā stuff. mom wants me to work at pinup girl which i am so not opposed to bc like yeah i want to design and take photos ad hang out with rad girls what??Ā
renoir: what has influenced you most in regards of your character?
def living in CA (see the CA chill note below) and being fostered in such a tight academic community definitely gave me room to grow and become self-aware and considerate, but in a way i didnāt get tapped into my art. in college i have a lot more room to grow and i think that freedom needs a drive. so finding that drive in itself is an influence. dance is my performing art and itās definitely my driving inspiration a lot of the time, iām always trying to link the two. like dance makes me think about the world in a different way than iām used to and that vision goes thru to photography. iām still trying to find my niche though. i havenāt found it yet, i donāt think.Ā
rosseau: what is your main philosophy in life?
do what feels right. this is a really complicated question but i think a lot of my personal philosophy is rooted in doing what you think is right while also considering what it means long term. be aware of yourself, and also center yourself. part of what i like to call the california chill aspect bc somehow if iām not anxious/panicked iām chill af. iām like yeah no. itās fine. itāll all be cool at some point.Ā
