not a glance is spared from his task as the cowboy comes his way. his stare is kept on his target, where shuriken knock away the bullseye with the clink of steel striking steel -- rapid bursts of three, then the hum of his body as his vambrace lifts away to feed more ammo into his grip. he can feel a stare fixed on him and he feels that much more conscious of the way his body opens itself up; some part of him wonders if his company notices. one final volley and he is empty and lacking an excuse to keep conversation at bay.
vibrant scarlet eyes flit to meet McCree's from over a shoulder before he turns to face him. those eyes dart over his expression in some attempt to glean the agent's purpose here -- does Reyes need me? are we to leave soon? what do you want? -- but it seems his hand will play close to his heart. surprises lack the excitement that they once brought, but he will play his part just as well.

the knife he pulls from the holster on his thigh is almost as old and familiar as jesse has become and he canât help the shake of his head as he makes the slow circle to cut him free at the wrists.  this isnât protocol and it definitely isnât the way hosts are supposed to be recovered: lone security out in a rarely visited sector, sun biting into the uncovered nape of his neck as he ignores procedure and frees jesse from his bonds.
