he's doing it again.

there's a panicked energy to the way that jihyun is moving around, like he's trying to prepare for the worst rather than hope that things'll work out. ( now that eric's in on the secret -- though perhaps by accident, when he saw both twins in the same room -- he understands why things can be a little... tense for the other man. never knowing who you'll see in the morning can certainly be a cause for stress. )

however, nothing's happened yet. and so, when jihyun paces by the couch for a third time, eric takes matters into his own hands.

reaching out, his hands curl around his waist, and he wastes no time in using his strength to tug him down, settling him into his lap without a second though. ( and if jihyun has thoughts about wriggling away, his arm moves to wrap around him, tuck him close to his front. )

his eyes are soft when they meet the other's, looking over his shoulder to try and catch his gaze. ❛ i can hear you thinking from here, ❜ he comments, though not cruelly. more... observationally. ❛ you wanna actually talk about it? or do you wanna try and burn a hole in the carpet from how many laps you're doing, hmm? ❜

"is that so?" they turn to adjust their signature hanbok jacket, the ends of it fanning out before he smooths it down. "you've only known me for a half the day, mr. leader. have i made that much of an impression on you already?"

it isn't often that old friends from his days of being an active dancer call for his help— his time having been taken up with managing his shop as well as making sure his fellow hunters don't run themselves ragged. so when an opportunity like this happens to come by then, well—

" Oh, Marc, not — not on the bloody bed, mate. . ! " It seemed like this just had to be the moment that Steven blipped into existence there. Shifted his way semi-forward, at least to the point that he could make himself known in that little three-way mirror they had hanging just a bit away from said bed he was talking about. The bed that Marc was currently eating in instead of going to their ( admittedly very small, but usable ) dining room table. Not just that, but their host was also deciding to eat what looked to be about the most unhealthy meal he could have chosen take-out wise. Made Steven's nose scrunch up in displeasure because personally, he knew how upset his stomach would be if he went and tried to devour all that.

" And you couldn't even find something healthy to snack on? It's late! That's gonna do such a number on the stomach. . . " Steven had to wonder if it was just one of those days. The ones where Marc didn't really want to take the time to care about their body. They sometimes came and went, depending. Steven hadn't noticed any mood shifts, but then again he hadn't exactly been co-fronting like he tended to do. . . " At least try not to get crumbs on the sheets, please? " Acceptance of sorts, but still a moment to show his displeasure at that moment.
