When Bjerk, the nurses, and several important people who he couldn't remember the names of ceased smothering Gavin in either affection or a strange brand of disappointment, he finally slept. It wasn't hard, given the amount of anesthetic still in his system, the painkillers dulling the once blazing agony in his lower leg to a throbbing ache. He woke up hours later when the Nurse took his vitals and woke him up. Needless to say, he was grumpy. And tired.
