By providing access for the user to construct different virtual fields, proposed protocol accomplishes the goal of meeting the need of different applications and different network conditions. In this work, an environmental data collection scenario is taken. In this, all nodes will be in dynamic nature and moves randomly. All nodes will be communicating with each other as well as from head nodes. There is a direct communication between head and nodes. It will provide a multi hop routing based on shortest path in wireless networks. This protocol gives the administrator a powerful ability. With this great ability, the administrator can reconfigure remotely to adopt different applications and different network conditions. Reconfiguration is performed when the QoS attributes exceed a set threshold. The proposed work shows better improvement in packet loss ratio and end to end delay values as compared to existing results. The proposed mechanism is implemented with MATLAB. 

A number of technical problems are arising with the widespread distribution of vehicular ad-hoc networks. Privacy and authentication mechanisms are of major concern. If security is not integrated with the system, it leads to anti-social and criminal behavior and endanger the benefits of the deployment of VANETs. A suitable authentication procedure is to implement the Public-Key Infrastructure (PKI) , where each node in the VANET has a set of authentic certificates. Traditional PKI systems makes use of Certificate Revocation Lists to check the validity of the certificate and thereby the signature. In this paper, a new method that replaces CRL with revocation checking process is proposed. When a node is found to be illegitimate or compromised, it is revoked by generating a revocation message and broadcasting to all other nodes in the network. The time consuming CRL checking need not be done for each message received. The method proves to be faster in authenticating messages securely. This is suitable not only for VANETs, but for any other network that deploys PKI. 

In the recent decade the VANET has been emerged as a prominent field for research and it receives considerable attention. VANET uses different specifications of the WLAN 802.11 family. It takes the basics of ad hoc network and the VANET creates a network with a collection of independent entities with the ability to communicate among them. The Adaption to the various 802.1 family causes a remarkable increase in the number of wireless network. The VANET has various benefits along with many challenges including security, privacy, Quality of communication, effective bandwidth utilization etc. The importance of Wireless Distributed network in current scenario is very major in communication technology is does through multiple cooperating clients. We know network users are growing in day to day life it does heavy load over the network and the traffic patterns are also getting dynamic , it does affect networking performance and quality in services , it require to get split out the network load into multiple server or client areas , it also does challenges for Wireless Distributed applications , in this case we need to develop such type of Wireless Distributed network that can create peer to peer networking in cycle , need to integrate network and application so that servers and clients can handle without networking complexity. In this thesis we propose an Agent Based Routing Scheme through which support routing with high number of nodes without flooding so that network bandwidth can be maximum utilizes. Proposed model provides a new Reactive routing algorithm that perform higher throughput and lower delay compare to the traditional VANET protocol like AODV and DSR. 

The Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks VANET ascents as an surface technology for smart transport as observed in the latter date decennary.The routing is the important element for keeping effectual communication between smart vehicles, which need to be entreated snappily. A traffic-aware routing protocol TARCO that considers integrated real-time traffic conditions for integrating delivery paths over a vehicular environs is presented. Routing in VANETs plays 0 crucial role in production of networks.VANET protocols are classified as topology based and position based concordat. Device-to-device D2D communication is admired as a propitious technique as granting the reliable integration between vehicles. The D2D-based vehicle-to-vehicle communication links coincide by recycling the similar sequence property, solution in a more intricate Combat scenario. Thus the access mode switch and resource allocation between cellular and VANETs become a challenging issue. Each road segment was then assigned a weight according to the overall view of the traffic conditions and updated systematically to reflect traffic variations. Finally, the road segments providing operative and dependable data paths were used to frame a routing path with latched connectivity and a short distribution lag to the destination. Simulation results showed that the use of TARCO leads to high network performance in terms of the packet delivery ratio, end-to-end delay and communication upward. 

Vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs), which is a subclass of Mobile ad hoc networks, have recently been developed as a standard means of communication among moving vehicles because it has tremendous potential to improve vehicle and road safety, traffic efficiency. VANET applications have the characteristics such as fast change of topology, bandwidth limitation and lack of central coordination that causes network congestion which restricts the network performance. Number of solutions proposed to overcome these challenges and to reduce congestion on VANET. These solutions include congestion control algorithms, some of them based on maintaining the beacon load below certain threshold value by adjusting transmit power or transmit rate or both. And others are based on utility function, carrier sense threshold, prioritization or a combination of them. Hence, this study takes a closer look at existing congestion control algorithms to solve congestion problems because it affects the performance of safety messages. The study further exposes the weaknesses and advantages of some of these congestion control algorithms, which can be helpful to tackle with the problems of congestions in VANETs.
