When Freddie goes back to his wife, it’s Margaret that reaches out to Ximena, a phone call from her a couple weeks later, inviting her for coffee.

What are you doing? He asks her, and she smiles at him, friendly but for the sharpness in her eyes, like this is his fault, like he did something wrong and maybe he did, but he’s not sure what except for staying away like she asked him too (maybe I wanna meet your girlfriend, she says, words cutting like a knife, is that wrong?)

He wants to draw a dividing line between them, between Margaret and Ximena, between the culebra world and his family–never should the two cross paths, stay separate, stay safe–but Ximena sits at their old kitchen table, sipping a hot mug of tea that Margaret put out for her, his ex-wife leading the conversation as Ximena drums her fingers along the table, pose calm and relaxed and listening intently.

worst pairing ever: Lestat/Rowena Mayfair...tbh most things about Blood Canticle. Also Armand/Marius because that ship is so so yikes upon reread.

a pairing you want to see more: I wish more people cared about Lestat/Nicky because I CARE SO MUCH. I CARE SO DEEPLY. 

that pairing everyone likes but you’re like “lol no”: Louis/Armand, which, like, to be fair I do enjoy it for what it is, which is Louis’ rebound but.

otp: SHAO/ZEKE IS EVERYTHING.

favourite canon pairing: I really feel a lot of things for Mylene/Zeke even though I appreciate that like, Mylene isn’t ready to be in a relationship and rejects him so hard, I just, I really love their everything. 

worst pairing ever: Annie/Shao. Just. Yikes.

guilty pleasure pairing: I don’t really have one here? Like, I don’t ship a lot in this show. I like the thought of Lydia/Francisco but I don’t feel guilty for that.
