I was honestly hoping that the taunts the beast was making through me would stir him enough to actually  go full out instead of avoiding hurting me. He put the entire world's fate on the line for the slim hope that he could destroy Vanargand while preserving my life. He could have easily just killed me, stopping the beast that way. But he never lost hope and somehow pulled through. And the most terrifying part? If our roles had been reversed for whatever reason, I don't know if I would have been able to do the same. I really don't deserve the mercy my brother keeps showing me...
