It’s a rare occurrence when an artist sounds exactly like they do on their records. It’s practically impossible to sound better than the edited and produced songs. Greta Van Fleet not only lived up to expectations, they surpassed it. Josh’s vocal range has been compared to Robert Plant’s and there’s a reason for that. He rifles through octaves like how you rifle through pics in your IG feed. Yet it was a team effort as well. They didn’t need any props, features or gimmicks as their bravado and showmanship filled the Mojave tent leaving zero room for the growing crowd. Brother Jake played a 5-6 minute solo behind his back. Danny had an insane 10 minute drum solo to wrap up the festivities. When Greta rolls up to your town for a show. YOU. MUST. GO.
